The Wyandotte is an American breed of chicken named for the Wyandot people.  It was developed in the 1870s. The Wyandotte is a dual-purpose breed chicken known for producing medium sized brown eggs. 

 

There are many color variants, but perhaps the most beautiful is the Blue Laced Red Wyandotte.  That's why I fell in love with them.  They have a good disposition and make great show birds on top of being great egg producers.

I produce beautiful, healthy birds that anyone would be proud to own.  Currently, they are only available for pickup locally in Glenpool, Oklahoma.
